At Ark Family Defense Fundamentals, safety begins at home. Our mission is to equip families and new shooters with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to protect themselves and those they love.

Founded by Randy Ark, Marine Corps combat veteran, husband, and father, our training is built on responsibility, integrity, and preparedness. We specialize in handgun, rifle, and shotgun defense fundamentals with special attention to family safety, home preparedness, and practical skills for everyday life.

Everyone is welcome here, especially those new to firearms. Training at Ark Family Defense Fundamentals is designed to be beginner friendly and comforting. We move at each student’s individual pace, focusing on encouragement and clear, step-by-step instruction. No matter your background or experience, you will find a judgment-free space and supportive guidance every step of the way.
